What I Like About Boutique Hotels 0

No matter which city you’re visiting, it pays to choose your hotel carefully since no one likes to make a mistake on their holiday. If you been to that city before, then you can take the time to enjoy what the hotel has to offer; if it’s your first trip, then use the hotel’s expert knowledge to plan your days and nights during your stay. Choosing a city boutique offers you a few advantages.

City boutiques are usually right where you want them to be; in the heart of the city. They may be round the corner from the most fashionable shopping area, next door to museums and art galleries or in the middle of the theatre district. There’s no need to spend a fortune on taxis or public transport because your hotel’s on the outskirts of town, and you can have a late breakfast and then move back and forth between the hotel depending on your day’s plans.

Because these hotels are in central locations, they are often in fantastic buildings. I had a friend who is developing a piece of land into a boutique hotel. It was an insightful time for me as she shared with me about her plans and we continued our conversation to talking about diet pills
! From old townhouses to converted banks or offices, the building that houses the hotel is one of the main attractions and when the design is based around the original function of the building, retaining original features, the guest feels more at home than in a hotel, even in the middle of the city.

Most modern cities have something going on twenty four hours a day, and chic boutique hotels are well placed to give you access to everything that’s happening

Not sure if you take notice but more and more people are choosing hip and boutique hotels for their vacation. Though they may not offer the best accommodation deals but discerning travelers like the exclusiveness these boutique hotels offer,

If you’re thinking about booking accommodation for your next vacation, or perhaps just a short city break, you may want to consider boutique hotels? When I go on holiday, where I stay is as important. I prefer to find a place where I’m comfortable and accessible to transport. My choice of accomodation an essential part of my holiday experience, so it’s surprising that most people don’t really pay much attention to the type of hotel they are going to be staying for the duration of their vacation. Package holidays use hotels that are virtually identical from one resort to the next. Normally, these bedrooms look the same, bathrooms have standard fittings and to the staff, you are just another tourist. Like to each his own, every has his own preferences.

You may want to get your health insurance or life insurance quote online if you are planning on long trips. But even for our family, we never fail to purchase our travel insurance no matter how short our vacation may be. You just never know, do you? Better be a prepared traveler.

Boutique hotels and technology 0

No matter what sort of good accommodation deals travelers are choosing, hotel guests are starting to demand the very latest in technology, from televisions to internet access. Boutique hotels get ahead of the game by integrating technology into their design.

Today’s technology is moving so fast, and hotels of all types have to anticipate the technology that will make their guests’ lives easier during their stay. As consumer technology becomes more affordable, guests are no longer terribly impressed by flat-screen televisions, integrated CD players and films on-demand; they can have that at home. What does impress them is when the technology improves the service, which in turn improves their experience. These are the things they will look for when they compare hotels. Some boutique accommodations even provide wellness programs including yoga and weight management so you can leave your ephedra product at home while vacationing!

Futuristic hotels have been the subject of many treatments in film, television dramas and books. In most cases, these hotels have a clinical look and feel to them, which is not at all what today’s guest wants to experience. They want the comfort, style and design of a great hotel, with the convenience that technology affords them. Forward-looking hotels of all types have recognised this and have begun to install technology systems that allow them to provide higher levels of service to guests.

Like it or not, today’s savvy travelers are choosing accommodation deals with technology in mind.

Speaking of boutique or hip hotels, you can also expect the public spaces to be more creative and chic. Most of the boutique or hip hotels offer internet connectivity in public spaces and some would offer free connectivity too for all guests.

In other words, you can surf with your laptop at the lobby, at the pool area, in the lounge as long as your laptop has sufficient battery life and laptop memory. Hip hotels that are well designed offer people their own space, without making the room feel cold or unfriendly. They must also have comfortable and chic furniture, so that guests can relax, read, eat or just talk. These hotels are friendly, non intimidating, less pretentious and offers a home away from home feeling.

why is boutique hotel more preferred? 0

Have you ever wondered why do some people prefer to stay in small boutique hotels over the large chain ones? One of the common observations in large hotels is that the staff seldom know who you are, or your purpose of visit. Boutique hotels tend to have the lower number of total bedrooms and thus this leads to high levels of personal service. Staff often know your name and your room number and, in some of the more exclusive boutique hotels, they find out what you need before you even get there and will get them ready on arrival. Oh yes, this may mean helping you with shopping needs including health products, weight loss pills and other essentials!

Most guests enjoy the ambience and service in a luxury boutique hotel over a standard hotel. As a guest, you immediately enjoy the ‘home away from home’ ambience and it tends to be more relaxed and comfortable.
