I read in an article about assisted living software and came to know a little more about Geneva.

Its green parks, lakeside promenades, colorful gardens, and pleasant surroundings are just some of its adorable appeals. Read the rest of this entry →

california’s napa valley 0

California is usually synonymous with beautiful beaches, beautiful people and the glitter and glitz surrounding the movie world, but there’s another side to this beautiful state, a gentler more natural side.  The Napa Valley is within easy driving distance of San Francisco and offers a tranquil alternative to the bustle of the city.

One of the fun things to do in the Napa Valley is to take a ride on the Napa Valley Wine Train.  As one of the top train rides in the world, you’ll enjoy a relaxing journey in lovingly restored carriages all dated pre-1950.  Whether you enjoy a romantic evening meal in the dining car as you travel through the valley’s beautiful countryside, or you take the daily tour that allows a stop at two of the local vineyards, this is a local “attraction” that shouldn’t be missed.

skydiving anyone? 0

Posted on October 02, 2007 by dorisch

Few years ago, DH and myself did skydiving during our vacation in Cairns, Australia. I had to tell you that that was the scariest but most thrilling experience of my life!

If you are seriously contemplating on trying your own pluck with skydiving, you would want to have the very best experience for this truly momentous event in your life. After all, not everyone would be able to claim to credit of having the guts to jump off the plane, you would normally want to relive every second of it. However if you are one of the more experienced skydivers, chances are you will be looking for new thrills to give your skydiving experience a fresh twist. The good news is, you need not search far and wide for the best drop zone site for your next skydiving session.

hotelscombined.com saves you time in accommodation search 0

Posted on September 23, 2007 by dorisch

I’m still doing a little research for my Hawaii accommodation for the final night’s stay before heading to Los Angeles. After all the research, I’ve narrowed down to Embassy Suites Hotel and a couple of beachfront ones along Waikiki beach. Along the way, I stumbled upon HotelsCombined.com which searches thousands of hotel options across multiple hotel booking sites, thus presenting you all the results for what you are searching for. In other words, you could enter your travel destination eg. London and HotelsCombined.com will search across more than 30 travel sites to present you with hotel accommodations in London. When you select a particular hotel, you will see the rates and room options from multiple travel booking sites, thus making it easy for you to identify which travel site offers the best deals.

This helps to save you time and you get to know new travel booking sites too.

your booking site for 4-5 star hotels 1

Posted on September 17, 2007 by dorisch

Are you one one of those travelers who are particular on your choice of accommodation? If you are, you are not alone. Many of us like to ensure that our travel experience is full of fond memories and not be spoilt by a hotel that is run down or dinghy. Worse still, if the rooms are not up to our expectations and we are booked in that place for a week!

Personally, I like to play it safe with reliable names and usually, these are the hotels that come with at least a 4-star rating. Most people may think that these luxury hotels are very costly but in actual fact, not all of them are. With careful research, you can get good deals for these higher end hotels. I’ve found AllStays.com to be a good resource for 4-5 star hotels and resorts with all year attractive prices.

To save $15.00 off Save Rate reservations over $200, enter promotion code: SPC7463403, expires on 12-31-2008.
