save money on vegas accommodations 0

Posted on April 03, 2008 by dorisch

If you have visited Vegas of late, you would have noticed the fierce competition among hotels and this is definitely good news to some extent for you as a traveler. The tightness of the competition keeps the prices relatively affordable and allows you to pick and choose which hotel you want according to the services, loaction and amenities rather than the prices of the rooms. It is wise to compare prices and competing hotels before booking your Las Vegas Hotels for your next vacation. Seasoned travelers will find that saving money on accommodation is a great idea in Vegas cos the more money you save on hotel accommodations, the more money you’ll have to spend on dining, shopping and the entertainment of your choice.

travel to palm beach florida 0

When traveling to sunny Palm Beach Florida, you may want to consider the Breakers Hotel as it seems to be a great accommodation spot for travelers. Besides the spa, golf course, and a 1/2 mile sandy beach, there is also a separate pool for the kids, a family entertainment center, and a kid’s program. Families can reserve up to five adjoining rooms while children under the age of 16 can stay for free in the same room as their parents. The fitness freaks can sweat it out on the elliptical machines while the ones who long for some pampering can head for the spa. Also, if you decide to take your beach vacation in Orlando, the Loews Hard Rock Hotel offers you plenty of beach and amusement rides, with a 240 foot slide and a white sandy beach.

I’ve been trying to hint and convince my other half on visiting Spain for our annual vacation this year. After learning that one of my friends is going to Spain next week with her hubby, I am so green with envy. Apart from the fantastic shopping scene in Spain, I have heard much about the lovely sights and landmarks that bring visitors from all over the world back again year after year. how about a UK vacation? 0

Posted on January 27, 2008 by dorisch

There are something special about the Yorkshire cities and for me, it’s the scenery that can enchant any non-traveler - the green rolling hills, the colourful blooms in spring and summer and charming architecture of old buildings.

Making a trip to the UK is a sure thing for us once our little boy is old enough to walk miles by himself cos we anticipate that there is much sightseeing to do in every city we plan to visit. I heard about the relaxing lifestyle in York so this is one city not to be excluded on a UK trip. There are many York Hotels to choose from at accommodation sites like Cheaper than hotel who also provides a good selection of hotels of various ratings for Leeds Hotels, Sheffield Hotels and more. And even if you are on a budget, you can find cheap Nottingham hotels at the user-friendly site. Don’t forget to use the star ratings as a guide too.

darling harbour hotels in sydney 0

It’s been five years since we last visited Sydney, one of my favourite cities in Australia. I like it for its vibrant culture, colourful arts precinct, great shopping and temperate climate. I could still remember our Sydney harbour climb, it started to rain when we were up on the bridge and we were drenched after the climb. Nevertheless, it was an experience of a lifetime. We stayed for a couple of nights at Four Points Sheraton Darling Harbour Sydney, an upscale hotel that offered great service, nice rooms and luxury comfort.

nice reception staff in Hilton Hawaiian and Marriott Waikiki 0

Posted on January 11, 2008 by dorisch

Whenever I check in to a hotel, I tend to notice the reception desk and the service staff, to see if the hotel has lived up to its reputation. My first encounter with Hilton Hawaiian Village had been a pleasant one - the staff was friendly and helpful and most importantly, there were sufficient service staff at the reception to assist the guests. Imagine waiting in line in front of a big reception area but there is only one person to help the hotel guests? Marriott Waikiki reception staff are commendable too. We checked in early on that morning and they were helpful in settling us in though the intended room reserved for us wasn’t ready.

I believe a nice hotel team makes me feel that the rates I paid for is worth the while. Most importantly, it helps to determine if I will be back again.
