Christmas Celebration 0

Posted on December 25, 2010 by dorisch

It was a quiet christmas for us this year as we celebrate it in down under. Everyone we knows seems to be away for vacations and so we decide to have a simple family christmas.

We enjoyed shopping in the malls the last few days as we witnessed how people stocked up for their giftings for this season. There are lots of Gourmet Food Baskets for sale and they make great gifts if you are visiting a friend or if you are invited to a Christmas party. It also looks like a great gift since they are packed nicely in a basket.

I’m sure most of you are busy eating and feasting this Christmas. So enjoy and relax and have a wonderful celebration.

Planning for a Trip to Spain 0

When you are planning a vacation it is important to do everything you can to learn about your destination so you can take full advantage while you are on your trip. Since a trip takes time and money you want to have the best time possible.

If you have chosen to visit Costa Blanca, Spain then you have picked a magnificent vacation spot. You have either spoken with trusted friends or read reviews on the countless wonders that Costa Blanca has to offer, and have decided that this was a place not to be missed on your next vacation. You can enjoy nature and relax in a beautiful environment. So just open your map up of the Iberian Peninsula and see Spain and Portugal. Grab a spotting scope to enhance your vacation. You can find Alicante near the Mediterranean if you follow your finger down the coast to the south you can see the small town of Pilar del Honradada. After this you can look towards Torrevieja and see Benidorm, Altea, Calpe, Moraira, Javea, and Denia to get a full view of Costa Blanca.

Now that you have a good idea of the different towns in Costa Blanca then you can get going with your holiday planning. Most people choose Costa Blanca during the summertime, but this will require advanced booking since it is such a popular time of year to be traveling. If you are traveling within Europe you are sure to find a great deal on a discount airline.

Settling Down in Brissy 0

I can’t wait to visit the beaches now that I’m in Brisbane. I used to come here as a visitor where I visit beaches and enjoy the Queensland sun but now, things are different.

We have been busy with finding a place and settling some important stuff. In the last few days, we’ve been shopping around for laserjet 3550 for our home office and getting a phone line for each of us. It has been daunting with the registration process as the credit checks here are pretty stringent. Having a room with a river apartment is nice as we wake up to an open view. I thought I would better enjoy this before I move to a townhouse in the suburb without a view! We’ll be viewing some houses this week and it would be great to find one with a nice park or open space view.

For now, it’s more adjustments to a new culture and a new place. It’s nice to finally touch down in Brissy.

Traveling to Europe 0

Before you go to Europe you will want to plan, plan, and plan. You will want to get travel brochures and speak to a travel agent to see what you would like to take part of and then you may want to think about what destinations in particular that you would like to see.

You may also want to take the time to learn the other languages too. You just will need to learn the basics so that you can make your simple purchases. You will want to take a course so that you can make some simple courtesy speak. Perhaps you may want to check out for your travel insurance needs before you travel.

When you begin to look at traveling arrangements for this type of vacation, you do not want to get too excited. Excitement is nice because you are going to places that you will want to see. You will find that there are many arrangements that you will need to do and you will need to get a travel agent to help you to keep it all straight. You will find that there are so many activities and festivals that you will want to see while in Europe.

Arrived in Brisbane 0

After a long search in the internet, I had chosen to stay in this serviced apartment called The Docks at Goodwin.

It was easy finding the place though we arrived quite late at night. The reception was closed by the time we arrived but we managed to get in without any hitches. There is a pool and gym in the vicinity though I haven’t had the chance to check it out. Since it’s a small gym, I don’t suppose there is any pull up bar but a few threadmills should do the job for a small place. The location is perfect with the ferry just 400m from the building so it’s very easy to get to the city. If time is on your side and you aren’t in a hurry, catching a ferry to the city in Brisbane can be a lot of fun.

New Style of Travel 0

As families travel by automobiles throughout the United States, they can take advantage of coupons that will give them lodging discounts in a variety of ways. Families can camp at State parks for the night and get another night free or they can choose to spend the night at a specific hotel chain and get nights free in the form of coupons when they get their next credit card statement. Some hotel chains allow travelers to exchange points for nights and others provide coupons that reduce the rate of lodging that is charged per night.

When online coupons are used, travelers are able to see the discounts they get before they finish the booking. Travelers prefer this method because it ensures that they are able to print out confirmations for every place they choose to stay along the way. I used to buy my personalized baseball bats with coupons and save on my purchase. Travelers are able to calculate savings and cost of travel and some will see a significant difference in the pricing and might plan to travel further because they can afford to. Always check coupons for expiration dates and inquire ahead to ensure that grocery stores accept internet coupons for the discounts that are listed.

Time for the Final Move 0

Posted on December 07, 2010 by dorisch

After all the tiresome days of packing, the movers were here and we managed to finish all the clearance in time. I’m so glad that we can now check in to the Garden residences for a few nights before heading for down under.

I have a couple more days to do my shopping and catching up with friends before the final move on friday. As the residence has cable internet, I can do some online work and manage to read up some acne treatment reviews

A Shopping Trip In London 0

Posted on December 02, 2010 by dorisch

Everyone of us has a desired country that we want to visit un our lifetime and it will differ according to what we prefer.

For me, I hope to go to europe someday and i wish for it to be a long one. I heard so much about London and I’m hoping to travel to milan for some good shopping one day. Every single one of my girlfriend who went to London or milan will come back with at least one branded bag. And i did hear that the price is real good compared to asia or anywhere in the world.

I believe walking will be s great replacement for the best weight loss pills if i go on a shopping trip as i will be walking all day! I would better make sure I strengthen my legs should i make a trip like this!

Ready for Down Under 0

It has a very busy month for us as we prepare ourselves for the big move next week.

We won’t be traveling for the next one year or overseas except within Australia. It may be a great opportunity to explore and get to know the country better during this curfew period.

Recently we bought a vertebrae stretcher and somehow i was told that it has many health benefits. Other than strengthening the spine, it can enhance the posture and my therapist even suggests that it can be a natural male enhancement device! That was funny.

We’ll be bringing that with us to oz and hopefully that can ease my tired back from all the packing.

Missing Our New Zealand Trip 0

Posted on December 02, 2010 by dorisch

Whenever I go on a long trip, I’ll try to do a detox before setting off. This is because I know that I’ll be picking out during my vacation!

Few years ago, I decided to read about how to colon cleanse before I went on a month trip to New Zealand. It was a good decision since I’ll be away for so long. It was a wonderful trip as it was our first time in this lovely country and my son just turned one at that time.

I was looking through the trip photos and truly missed the beautiful scenery and awesome sights. Hopefully we can visit New Zealand again now that my boy is six years old. I’m sure he would be able to appreciate the sights more too!
