Every traveler likes to seek for lowest discount hotel rates and that’s why the online travel industry is growing everyday. It is just so easy to book your discount accommodation via the internet. All it takes is some homework and research and you can save on your hotel accommodation.
I’ve always enjoy staying in a hotel apartment if there is any in the destination I’m traveling to. Staying in an apartment means more space and flexibility. These days, many hotel apartments are equipped with home theater furniture which provides a cosy home-away-from-home feel. Staying in an apartment can also mean better value for money for your travel accommodation. A hotel room tends to be pretty standard in its offerings unless you are paying for a higher room category. If you haven’t stayed in an apartment in your travel adventures, try it out next time.

If you are planning a visit to San Francisco and you love wine, you might seriously wish to consider taking a day trip to one or more of the many vineyards that are only a short drive away. This is one of my regrets when we took our honeymoon trip to the bay area few years ago. Many of these vineyards offer packages that leave you free to taste all the wine you can handle without worries about drinking and driving. And if you are a big fan of wines, you may even join the exclusive wine of the month club and network with like-minded individuals.
Even if you are not a wine connoisseur you may find yourself pleasantly surprised to discover that there is a great palate of excellent wines to be found in California’s Sonoma Valley and Napa Regions. The wines you will taste here are generally great quality wines and are specially selected to showcase the best that these vineyards have to offer. Regardless of whether you find yourself a reformed wine connoisseur or not, you will at least have gained a really good education about both the wine making process and the many varieties of wines that are available.

Singapore has always been one of my favourite destination for food and shopping. Though I am born and bred here, I’m not saying this out of biasness. After shopping in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Japan and Shanghai, Singapore still remains my favourite shopping stop since all the retail stores and concept shops are located close to each other.
Branded concept stores have sprung up everywhere in Orchard road and the town area. Whether you are shopping for a Prada handbag, La Mer skin care, the latest iPhone 3G or weight loss pill for your waistline, Singapore is a great place where you can shop and compare. Being a multi racial society, it is easy to converse with the locals and receive any shopping help or tips if you need any guidance. What’s cool about shopping in Singapore is that the retail stores have long opening hours from 10am - 10pm (most shops) and it’s safe to be shopping late too!

This weekend, I’m off to Singapore for a short break with my family. My son is more excited than us since he gets to visit his favourite play centre and ride in the coach.
Traveling with a toddler has been a common affair for our household. To ease the travel itinerary and to avoid any frustration, I prefer to pack early with my son’s personal belongings as top priority. As a mom, you pack not only for yourself but your child and everyone else in the home. Other than my digital SLR battery charger, phone charger and personal toiletries, my acne cream and health supplements stay top of the list. All our travel documents will be safely placed in my bag the night before our coach trip.
Coming back to my hometown brings alot of comfort to my soul. Though I still face the stresses of family matters, it feels nice to step out of a foreign country and be back to where I used to belong.

This afternoon, we went shopping for a new LCD tv mount for our LCD TV. Hubby wanna makes sure there is no hiccups during this Olympic season. We also saw many travelers booking for their summer vacation. When it comes to booking a summer vacation, a large number of travelers use the assistance of a travel agent. Travel agents are individuals who specialize in researching and arranging vacations for their clients. Travel agents are popular because they allow clients to spend more time completing their daily activities, instead of having to research and plan a summer vacation.

If given the opportunity most families would prefer to use the services of a travel agent. Unfortunately, services of a travel agent do not come free. If you are interested in planning a summer vacation, on a budget, you may want to consider making your own reservations. In a few simple minutes, you could easily make reservations online or over the phone. Not only should your reservations include hotel accommodations, but travel accommodations as well.
Aside from car travel, air travel is one of the most preferred methods of travel for arriving at summer vacation destinations. If you are interested in booking your airline reservations online, you need to find the online website of the airline you wish to fly with. Popular airlines include, but are not limited to, Delta, United Airlines, Spirit Airlines, and Northwest Airlines. Each of these airlines has an online website that should allow the online booking of reservations.

The best time to start planning your trip is when the impulse hits you! Search for information right away. Contact the local state and National tourist offices and check online, to learn more about your destination of choice.

Follow this link for your Ziploc® Easy Zipper Bag Sample
Plan your trip so everyone has fun and budget for it accordingly! Think child-centered activities or a personal interest indulgence. Bring your kids’ favourite games and toys as long as they are not occupying too much space in the luggage or car. Pack your xbox 360 and card games for some family time after dinner. Save money by deciding early and balance the family interest. Book online and check out last minute deals for great savigns. Avoid trying to fit in all the “touristy” must-sees that will add up in the end. Select a few of them you really cannot bear to miss and enjoy them together.
