My little boy can’t wait to revisit Traders Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. He had a great time at the jacuzzi pool which he deemed was a little ’swimming pool’. Since it is a business hotel, you don’t get lots of guests hanging around at the pool area in the mornings so that was great for him.

We had a Club room which came with a host of benefits that only Club room members enjoy. Little did I know that we were actually upgraded to an Executive Suite, no wonder we were getting such a perfect view of the Petronas Twin Towers and more living space. There were little perks like a vanity kit for ladies and a little lollipop placed at the bath tub - that was a refreshing idea! What we love was the free broadband access available only to club room guests and the relaxing space at the sofa area. It was great for kids as well as for business travelers, except that the business people may not have enough time to savour these little perks. What was extra nice was the morning breakfast and afternoon tea at the lounge and freeflow of beverages served all day, including beer!

For those who want some pampering, head up to the spa haven and get a good massage and perhaps the best acne treatment - speak to the spa and facial therapists regarding your needs. The price for a night’s stay at the Club room was moderately reasonable compared to hotels like Mandarin Oriental and the Shangri-la. You should expect to pay RM550 excluding tax during off peak seasons whereas MO will charge around RM650. Besides, you will be served by a young staff team who are polite and quick to attend to your needs. Definitely a great place to lay your head if you are looking for a nice hotel in Kuala Lumpur - business or leisure.
